Wow, great stuff, thanks Whilce. I'm saving for that cover already.
Whilce, is there a conscious effort on your and Mike's part to weigh off the pure fantasy elements of the book with the other genre, do you try to balance it so it doesnt go too far one way or the other?
Can't wait to see the finished product. I wonder how you will fit in all the characters now between the new and old teams.
is it just me, or is all comic art better before it gets inked, no matter who inks it? maybe my artistic tastes are maturing, and i simply enjoy line art more these days.
this is not knocking your ink job, whilce, or any other artist's. it just seems to me as though so much detail is lost in the transition from pencils to inks.
Awesome!
So, since this is the cover of issue #10, we will see the old team at the end of Mike's first arc.
I can't wait for june and this issue!
One question: Whilce, when the series was announced, it was said it would go to 10 issues first, because it is the number of issues of Mike's story.
Can you tell us what can we expect after? is there another run scheduled?
If there is something, when can we expect an announcement?
Paul.
To me its simple....if the book keeps selling.....the book will continue to be made. Promote the hell out of it like I do on discussion boards....buy more than one copy like i do if u can....
great works, hope to get a copy of the book!!! wala pa rin kupas si Whilce!!!
Im sorry rafa, but I dont follow...would those numbers be considered good or bad for Wildstorm??
Whistle You're the BEST, I love your talent from the beginning, thank you for your Art.Greetings from Poland.Marc
Whilce, I met you at the Chicago comicon when you rolled out the first issue of Wetworks (back in 1994). Unfortunately, I have stopped collecting comic books since the late 1990's, but I was reading some of the articles on wikipedia.org. I didn't realize that you had slipped into a coma in 2000. Best wishes to your health and your future success. Thanks for being nice to your fans - that really makes a difference! From Walter.
Whilce,
Wanted to thank you for the chance to meet you at the NYCC this past weekend and thanks again for the Dane sketch. Awesome work on having Grail come back. Can not wait to see more.
Just picked up issue 6 today and it looks fantastic. I can't wait to read it.
Hi Whilce, would it be possible to get in contact with you for an email interview for an Italian comics website called De:Code (http://www.de-code.net)?
