Got behind on the blog so I am posting an online reminder to myself to accomplish by end of next week to have post on commentary for Wetworks issues #2 and #3. #2 came out a month ago and #3 just last week. Also I want to post the actual art process of how I draw now...there you have it by end of next week three new post...
BTW-attached image is just me testing out color pencils and markers with acrylic highlights, notice the Batman. Did that about a month before I started drawing Batman...so I guess it was my first official rendition...

Hey Whilce, congrats on another exciting issue of WETWORKS. Now i can't wait to see how the action unfolds in the next issue. I love the new look to mother one as well. Will she have a symbiote again? or what happen to hers?

Mother is a very interesting character. There are so many ways to go with her. She has endless possibilities. With a character like that I like to play around with one possibility and see where the story goes from there. Right now I am swaying towards just keeping her as configured as she currently is and seeing how creative I can be with that power. With her computing power as a human computer and with her ability to deftly manipulate every square inch of her skin and body she can be very, very scary. It can be horrible to think of how many ways she can create to use her powers...let's see what comes up...
