Hell yeah that was a kick Azz seen with Dane busting in the window taking out the robots.. Brings back memories when i first got into wetworks.
Yea...thats when Dane had his burgundy vest and pants....he was having a conversation with Armand Waering at the time.
It was in that issue (shortly before that scene) that the strength of the symbiote was said to help its wearer lift over two tons. How strong is Dane physically using the Symbiote itself without psi amping? Like compared to...Spiderman....or Colossus?
I like current Dane...i sometimes thought his old look was too simple
Anonymous,
The symbiotes are akin to hard metals and therefore give its owners limbs the tactile strength of the hardest steel. Difference being that steel eventually has a breaking point. The symbiotes don't have a breaking point so to speak, instead if you apply stiff pressure to enough points on the symbiotes surface you can weaken it into becoming pliable. Therefore bringing up the unpleasant possibility of bending, breaking, stretching, and tearing human bones and flesh but not spilling one ounce of blood or guts outside of the symbiote. It will never lose its internal integrity thereby containing every bit of human fluid and organic bits within itself.
So comparitively Dane with his symbiote (not adding his psi-powers) is most closely akin to Colososs of the X-Men.
Now with his psi-powers which to certain degrees always is "on". Since his powers activate with but a thought, he is constantly reinforcing the symbiotes strenght. Thereby making his personal symbiote less like strong steel and more like adamantium. So in that sense more like Supperman's skin.
Whilce youre the best man
*thumbs up*
Yeah I remember this....it's what happens when a very good artist meets the best inker in the biz
