Hey I'm back...

Sorry people been away for abit doing Conventions, commissions, finishing Batman, lots of Wetworks planning stuff that I can't talk about yet, and my contract with DC is up next month so been figuring what's gonna happen and how and when...will have alot of updates added by tonight (westcoast time)...

...but to tide you over here's the cover for WW #11 it's a simple little scene not actually in the issue but a scene that would happen...the first meet and greet between the two Wetworks teams...

I like, I have always loved ur I for covers whilce. This in particular puts me in the mind of Uncanny X-Men 289. With storm and forge on the cover. Same simplicity and effectiveness.

Hey Whilce, if DC lets your contract end with re-signing you, I think you should return to Marvel! I would love to see your artwork in play on the Ultimates!

Plus maybe a return run on the Punisher would rock too!

Keep up the great work, dude!!

Good to see you back. If DC doesn't sign you what happens to Wetworks? I am really not interested in the series if you are not going to be involved. It really depends on who they would bring in but I doubt it would be someone on your level.

What are the chances of you getting the rights to Wetworks back in your possession?

I wouldn't mind seeing you do some Marvel stuff again, anyways I am anxious to read what you will be posting after reading your last entry.

Ok, I've just noticed from #7 on it's fill-in artists..! I mean WTF? I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football, being stupid enough to believe the new Wetworks hype..

I promised myself when coming back to Wetworks it would be different this time, Whilce will stick to his book and the book will be monthly...

There's plenty of good books out there man, take YOU off Wetworks and it's doomed to sink. YOU alone make Wetworks worth buying...

It aint a good enough book to have Joe 'fill-in' Artist rushing out a poor 22 pages....

I feel like I've been sucker punched, 6 Issues of WW then fill-in guys and Jim Lee's reboot effort on Wildcats is laughable .. 1 damn issue.

Welcome back Whilce!!! Thanks again for another awesome issue of wetworks. Questions: After seeing the new look for Grail, does he still glow blue or is he still stuck in his energy form? And is Ab-death from dead world even though it was said that he was grown by the scientist? And based on this new image you posted who is the other guy with a symbiote in this picture?

peh, I'm outta this, I've just been to see 300 which was a joy from beginning to end and what was never going to happen in a thousand years was Zack Snyder stepping aside in the 4th act and some pimpley film student finishing up the movie with his handy cam....

Whilce on Wetworks.. wax on, some dude I never heard of with art nothing like Whilce's wax off...

All thanks to a great man who help win back my wife, his name is Dr. OKO. My wife was taken from me by my boss, he fired me so that he can entice my wife with money to take her from me. Off course, his plans worked out because money wasn’t coming to the house and there was starvation and my wife trying to help me gain back my job, went appealing to my boss on my behalf but little did she know that my boss stripped me off my job just to take her from me. My wife being a woman fell on his track after been induce with money, she later packed out of my house and went to him and that was how I knew my boss purposely took my job just to take my wife from me. A friend of mine who got a job through the help of Dr. OKO gave me the doctor’s info. I reached him for help and behold, my wife came back and I got another job which is much better than the formal one.
