Thats your con sketch style??? Wow!!! It looks great Whilce and I must say that the new Wetworks is really shaping up to be something I am enjoying as much as the first. We spoke about inventivness and I love the ideas you are coming up with. I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve.

Question: have you left all of the scripting and story up to Mike or have you had a close input into the story too?

Whilce
was the preview drawn specifically as a preview section or was it edited out of the regular book?

Hey Russ,

In as much as the first arcs are establishing his world and his characters I leave him alone. Whenever he starts to buttress up against Dane's world and his rebuilding of the old team and the Vampire Nation then I just describe once for him the status quo and he weaves his needs within that...that way we are able to respect each others ideas and be free to basically do what we individually want.

In terms of the preview, everything is comics is so strict deadline wise that everything has to be specific, so the previews were just that previews. Opportunities arouse and we filled them with WW's...

Man, thats great, I love that you did the previews in order to flesh things out, I love that kinda stuff on DVDs and I would love to see it more in comics, especially by the original creative team. Its really cool of you to do this Whilce. The film had mixed responses but the Extended Edition of The Pubisher has an animated section that was planned but never filmed as a kinda prequel section, all done by Tim Bradstreet. How cool is that?

The preview section etc is what really makes harcovers and trades worth buying even if you have the original series. I loved the original Wetworks Source Book, great art and info by yourself and Nick Manabat...the last person to do a cool sourcebook was J. Scott Campbell with Wildsiderz. great stuff.
